Hi Andreea,
Our team is currently focused on improvements to our Web application.
We will be reviewing our feature request board. Although there is no exact timetable for when will feature requests will be deployed, rest assured that we are recording all of the requests that are most voted on.
Hey, I would definitely buy premium immediately if it was available for Firefox. It's the fact that I have to open Chrome to use it that's making it not worth it right now :)
Hello, I would like Weava to return to Firefox. There is no other similar tool for replacement. I don't like Google Chrome - I don't feel safe using it even though I know that Firefox also has its problems.
Hi Leonardo, thank you for that detailed comment and for sharing your thoughts with us. You do say "return" but just a note that we have never been directly available for Firefox.
Currently, we do not have direct manpower to create a dedicated extension for Firefox, though we keep monitoring the interest (and keep working on expanding our team - and working faster and better). But, for now, we do not have a specific release date nor a time when such would be initiated, though we will aim to release updates here in this thread once we do.
One thing to note, that may be helpful to some reading this feature request thread: privacy-focused browsers, such as Brave (built on the open-source Chromium), works with Weava. Although I understand there may be certain other reasons for opting for Firefox at the moment, it may at least be an alternative to consider where you can also use Weava effectively.
As the increasing interest on privacy as of late (Musk’s tweet about ditch WhatsApp and move to signal), people have begun to question their online privacy. Firefox has blocked over 1000 trackers in the past week, & 500 just today!! I am pursuing my PhD currently and I used Weava for hours on end over on Crome. but there is nothing like it on Firefox, I miss you guys!! Please look into this, if you do, I will be happy to subscribe.
Thanks a lot Rich for taking us upon our Twitter suggestion and making your voice heard here too! As a matter of fact, we have an existing Firefox request (I should have made that clear in my tweet reply). Anyways, I will merge your request with the existing one. Have a great day, and thank you for helping us improve.
I will merge your request with the Mozilla Firefox request, if you want to vote on the Edge feature request, please navigate to it and vote on it there.
As for Microsoft Edge, please also note the following:
- Please note that you can download Weava via the Chrome Web Store on Microsoft Edge (weavatools.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/article/174718977).

Weava's pricing model is more sympathetic (free plan more generous), but on Firefox I'll be using SNIPPET since it offers similar functionality...
