Anonymous user: I would like a mode in which I don't have to choose color every time I highlight. Just choose this "instant/lock highlight" mode and every mark with mouse instantly would be highlighted, without any confirmation by choosing color.

I am currently not using this extension because of this functionality only. Lot of time wastage on selecting color every time. Any idea regarding ETA for this request ?

If you do this, you should have a shortcut to easily disable it so that you could go back to selecting text without immediately highlighting with your pre-selected color. But please, do expedite this, it is a huge time-saver, I am surprised so few people are asking for this. Aren't people annoyed at having to do the repetitive color selection every single time? Thanks for considering and I hope it does not take too long ;)
