For example: highlighting a sentence and pressing "1" on the keyboard to select the first color in your color palette, pressing "2" for the second color in your color palette, etc.
That would remove the need to manually clicking a color selection with your mouse.

I hate clicking on a color each time, it completely breaks my flow and is my main reason for being only a casual Weava user. If they don't do what you suggest (i.e. keyboard shortcuts), they should do what Kami does -- have a color palette on the side, and when you're selecting that color, any highlight you make will turn that color.
I support this. It is very annoying having to click on a color each time you want to highlight a word in a 200 page document
