Error because of outdated pdf.js used in Weava

Please update the pdf.js (i.e. the actual pdf reader used in Weava) because it outdated now since ages (4 years ago, version 1.4). This creates the following bug, when I try to open a file in weava like this bit.ly/3emfquK for annotation then Weava refuses to parse it since pdf.js is outdated.

Hi Anome, thank you for this. We just wanted to confirm that we are currently working on revamping the whole backend processes for the Chrome extension, which also includes updating PDF.js. While there is no official release date yet, we would be expecting to have this ready in roughly two months.
