Hi, would be great to be able to export highlights from Weava to e.g. Roam Research (roamresearch.com/), Notion (notion.com/) or Obsidian (obsidian.md/).
The current export only exports either individual or all notes but can't "sync" new highlights to another note-taking tool.
Even just exporting all highlights for a given webpage as Markdown would be great.
Alternatively, if you have no plans improving the exporter, could you allow Zapier (zapier.com/) to access the API so people can build their own syncing functionality?

Hi Julian, thanks again for helping us improve. Please allow me to reply with similar comments as to what I did to you individually earlier - simply so that it is easier for other future readers of this to also understand where we are coming from in this regard.
We certainly also share the desire to expand the horizons of our exporting so that you as the user have greater freedom to utilize the highlights and annotations in the way you see fit.
Currently, we are focusing on our back-end restructuring to ensure we have a state-of-the-art foundation to continue to build upon - wherein we are also restructuring and enhancing our internal APIs. Ultimately our goal is to later on enable for public API access (e.g. so that Zapier can connect with relevant triggers of ours - and so that you can connect those with other software of your choice).
We do not, however, at the current point in time have a specific release date, but it is something we are working hard on at the moment to reach. We definitely see the value in enabling you to create your own automation and workflows and we perfectly realize that we have a lot of improvement potential with our current exporting.
Also, kindly note that most of these similar feature requests are under the main category of "integrations" and it is better suited if each specific request has its own home, though I will leave this request as is for the time being.
